All personnel employed by WEB TM are trained and inducted. All hold valid Safe Pass Cards and Manual Handling Certificates. The Safety Statement is available to all members of staff on site. All supervisors hold CSCS Signs, Lighting and Guarding. WEB TM audits their own sites on a regular basis to ensure compliance with Chapter 8 of the Traffic Signs Manual and Health & Safety Legislation. WEB TM are also audited regularly by Local Authorities and Client Safety Officers. This information is also used to ensure competency of staff.
Ultimately, the person shall possess sufficient training, experience and knowledge appropriate to the nature of the work to be undertaken.
All WEB Traffic Management Services Ltd employees are provided with PPE such as Class 3 Hi Visibility Reflective Long Sleeve Vests and Trousers, Helmets and Steel Toe Cap Boots and Safety Goggles. The designated supervisor, who is suitably trained and experienced, will co-ordinate and implement all safe working procedures. All sites are set up as per Chapter 8 as a minimum requirement and where necessary additional signage is used where the WEB TM risk assessments states this is required.
